Lightbulb Spironolactone - Interesting discovery!

I have been taking Spironolact for 2 years...causesd sleep disturbance and anxiety BUT my Pharmacy sent a refill by the Greenstone Pfizer manufacturer and WOW what a difference. Much better for me..apparantely somettiing in the inactive ingredients made the difference. So how many other generics might be doing this to other people too??

Re: Spironolactone - Interesting discovery!

I'm surprised that the older med caused sleep disturbances too.

SIDE EFFECTS: Enlargement of the breasts (gynecomastia) is a not infrequent side effect. Rare side effects include diarrhea, cramps, drowsiness, rash, impotence, irregular menstrual periods, and irregular hair growth.
p.s. That FIRST side effect made me afraid to ever take this drug.
Maybe the first piill DID have some bizarro ingredient? Maybe something you were allergic to?
Why not try to find out from the manufacturers what the inert ingredients were?
