| Re: wrist cuffs
I have a omron wrist, I take it along to my DR. to check for accuracy and she said it is fine. Have had it at least 4 years and like it. I just checked the booklet and it for a wrist up to 7 3/4 inches in diameter. I saw they have a new cuff out that tells you wether your have your arm at heart level.
Someone gave me a brand new one and that thing is so off, I had a reading of 169/173, took it over immediatly and the reading was 131/74, another time it was 122/130, a repeat was was 130/70, that cuff only had a serial number and the distributers name, it is in the garbage.
Omron has a toll free custome service help line and they are great about helping you. They may make a larger wrist size, but I am not sure. You put the wrist right above the wrist joint, so measure that area and see if you can use it wih a cloth tape measurer.
