It's POSSIBLE Norvasc might be involved. The manufaturer reports around 1% incidence of arthragia, arthrosis, muscle cramps, and myalgia.
My guess is that the leg pain is from something else, but what I'd do is test the hypothesis by going off the Norvasc for a month or two... and then do the same for atenolol to see if your leg pain goes away. You may need a substitute med for hypertension or not, depending on how bad your BP is.
Do you have any back-pain...what you are suffering sounds a LOT like sciatica?
