Sorry. Is there a correlation between pulse and BP? Meaning does a high pulse rate (excluding anxiety, panic attacks or exercise)always mean an elevate BP reading and vice versa?
My resting pulse rate is usually high 80's, 90's, or even over 100 at times and my blood pressure is 90's/60's or 80's/50's and even dropping lower at times.

I find that they are OFTEN inversely related, but not always!
Seems logical becasue both are methods of getting more nutrients into the cells, so either one does the trick.
After my daily walk, my BP will run around 106/71 and my pulse will be about 115 or higher. It seems whenever my BP drops that low, my heartbeat increases.
I find when my blood pressure is high (between Clonidine doses) my pulse will be lower, i.e. 160/100 pulse 55, and after exercising and taking meds i.e. BP around 129/73 and pulse will be 70 or in a higher range.
