I have no experience with diuretics, so I can't help you out there.
CCB = calcium channel blocker, examples are diltiazem, amlodipine (norvasc) and verapamil. They affect the passage of calcium into the heart and blood vessels and relax the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure.
ACEI = angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor, examples are captopril, benazepril, enalapril, and lisinopril. This inhibitor prevents the activation of angiotensin, which constricts the blood vessels.
So these are just different classes of blood pressure meds.
