Do you feel very tired and or dizzy all the time? If you don't have side effects then 100/68 is not too low.
Actually you are taking 3 drugs, since Lotrel is a combination of amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker) and benazepril hydrochloride (an ACE inhibitor). Toprol is a beta blocker.
Why are you taking all these drugs? Have you tried Toprol by itself? Toprol also lowers blood pressure. If you need a beta blocker for heart palps, you should try it alone first to see if it lowers your blood pressure enough to be consistently below 140/90 for resting readings (lower if you have diabetes or some other medical problem). If Toprol doesn't work enough by itself, then you should try other classes of drugs separately, rather than throwing combos at you right off the bat.
