I went to get blood tests for my process of elimination - starting with checking if I have perimenopause or what!!
I have taken most of the tests for heart related items. EKG's, Blood Work, Echocardiograms, Stress tests...etc. Well, here I am with another spike, now taking chlonidine .01 twice a day and it seemed to work there for a while. I recently have been getting dizzy spells and feeling of fatigue, hot flashes and then bouts of insomnia because I slept most of the working day.
So, I am going to start with the Gyn. If she finds something then I will attribute it to hormonal reasons. My GP insists that my BP won't go up because of perimenopause when I hear many women on this site say they too have the same symptoms I have.
