You ate, but how much did you eat? You aren't anorexic, are you? Or extremely thin?
Decades ago when I was in high school and college, I used to get dizzy and even faint quite easily. I was extremely thin, 5'5" and 103 pounds, even though I tried to gain weight. I never went to a doctor for it, but now suspect that it was probably a combination of low blood sugar and low blood pressure.
I also get dizzy sometimes when I'm coming down with the flu or a virus of some kind, perhaps not as extremely dizzy as you say, but dizzy enough to stay put for a while instead of moving around. So do you feel well otherwise?
All the things crabbyroad suggested are also possibilities. If you have the problem again tomorrow, you might want to call your doctor for an appointment.
