Something like is surely true. And a good percentage of the population--whom we are, of course, hate can do that is a matter of course. But it's not the case that you
get quite the same results by achieving that goal through lots of medication. And we just don't know how many years you'll lose by having your bp at 135, instead of 115, on medication, because the medicine itself introduces new risks. Unmedicated very high bp will get you early for sure, through ruining your heart or kidneys or both. We do know, sadly enough, that bp does correlate pretty strongly with longevity, but we also know that there are many exceptions to such general rules.
