Fluctuating Blood Pressure With blood pressure in the normal range for most days, there are times that it becomes elevated, like today when it averaged 160/100. This morning it was 117/80 upon awakening. At what point is it necessary to go back on medication? It's more often than not my bp is in a decent range. The few times that it becomes elevated - is this cause for being medicated again? What do you think? |
Re: Fluctuating Blood Pressure mom, Medicate only if you have a monthlong AVERAGE over 140 or 90. |
Re: Fluctuating Blood Pressure Lola' I would agree with Lenin. I would add one other thing though. Speaking from a personal view my BP is much like yours. I would medicate it IF you feel it like I do...in my head....or if you get headaches from it. Then it might warrant medicating it. I used to get "rushes" when I stood up. If you do not and BP is averaging below 140/90 like Lenin said then I would leave it alone for now. |
