I always understood that sea salt contains just as much sodium as regular table salt, so after reading your question, I did a search and there are articles that
claim sea salt will lower blood pressure - because unlike regular table salt, sea salt contains magnesium and potassium, both of which can lower blood pressure.
Of course these were sites that are trying to sell you something

I wouldn't think that the amount of magnesium and potassium would be enough to make a difference for the amount of salt you'd use.
