I am taking DiovanHCT and have been having a burning sensation at times when I breath and shortness of breath just walking up a hill or steps. I'm a runner and my endurance has gone way down. I never had this until I started taking this medicine. Could this be an allergic reaction? I have tried to discuss with my doctor, but he doesn't think it is the medication....he told me to quit reading the internet! I didn't appeciate the comment! I have also had muscle aches. I mentioned CoQ10 to him and he admitted he didn't know what that was! He me sent for an expensive Stress test which all turned out normal. I do think it is the medication! It does work great to lower my bp and also does not make me feel bloated like when I was taking Norsvac. Do you know of any alternative BP medicine that doesn't do this? Thanks
