You haven't told us about his eating style, does you like fast food? does you eat a lot of fruits and vegetables? what about salt intake?
Hi Michael,
Our diet hasn't been like it should but that is going to change !
He went to the doc today and he said the EKG was not bad, that nothing indicated a heart attack, etc. He also added another BP med to see if that would help.
But back to my statement above.....
For about a year we walked a mile or more almost every day. We ate right and cut out almost all the junk food. Once a week we would have a treat. We both lost weight, felt good, and his BP was great ! But as a lot do, we went back to the old ways. SO we know what we have to do.
I know I can do it for myself and my husband. When I first started having a fast heart rate I was scared to eat/drink anything with caffeine. I went a year without chocolate (I love it ) and no coffee, tea, etc. I also had to give up shrimp after a severe reaction (I love it more than chocolate if that is possible)

Anyway, my point being, it has been done, and can be done again.
Our health is a lot more important than a few minutes of pleasure that you get from a cany bar.
Thanks for the reply. Hope eveything is good with you.
