blood pressure - High & Low Blood Pressure Message Board

yesterday i had my blood pressure taken it was 119 over 71 the doctor said the top was a bit high and the botton was a bit low so today i done it again on the machine in the surgery and it was 128 over 71 i am a bit confusedabout it does anybody know anything about this

Both readings are good. I don't know why your doctor is saying that 119/71 isn't a good reading....

I agree - 119/71 is a great BP reading. Most people would love to have that #. Also, BP do tend to fluctuate at different times of the day.

sorry i said 128 over 71 but it was 136 over 71 the 71 never seems to change
