question? Is there on epill out there for HBP, adema and palpitaions? I take catapres for HBP, Maxide as a diuretic and Inderal on an as needed basis for palps. I need blood work done as I am having alot of leg and feet cramps. in my feet it's more like charlie horses. potassium could be down. I have been on the same meds for yesrs and have just started to have ireegular EKG's and BP spikes off and on. Any ideas?

There are lots of tablet formulations that include a beta-blocker and diuretic but there is nothing that would include anything like chlonidine (Catapres.)

For those leg cramps, I think you might benefit from upping your calcium intake. Often low serum calcium and muscle cramps go together.

thanks lenin-----catapres hads worked for me until recently. it's been upped from .1 daily to twice daily and i am still having some spikes. the inderal is aonly prescribed as needed so i have only taken 5 in the past 4 months for palps. I started reading up on potassium, magnesium and calcium deficiency and think it's a big probelm. I am so confused as to what to take and how much. since I am a diabetic and allergic to yeast i need supplements that have no additives. I take 1000-1500 of calcium a day but it also has 500 mg of mag and 30 mg of zinc. just read yesterday that calcium and mag together sometimes stop the absorption of one or the other. hence my confusion.
