Hello everyone,
I woke up last sunday with a red right eye. It was totally red, I looked like Christopher Lee! This is the third time since xmas, so I got in touch with a doctor, and he wanted to see me that day. On seeing him he looked at my eye, and then took my blood pressure. He put the cuff on my right arm and pumped it, then frowned. He did it again and frowned once more. He removed it and put it on the right arm, and straight away he said "thats high". He went through some questions like "is there anyone in the family with blood pressure?" to which I said I don't think so? He then examined my heartbeat, and looked at my notes. He knows I have autoimmune disease, as well as epilepsy.
He has put me on Ramipril and I have to see him next week. I didn't ask what my readings were, but will ask next time. What I wanted to ask is, I have trouble with my left arm. If I work with it up in the air, after a minute it starts to burn in my shoulder, then my whole arm aches and I have to lower it. Also if I fall asleep with my left arm above my head on the pillow, it will go dead, and I usually wake up panicking because I can't eel my arm and have to get hold of it and lower it down. It's very cold and takes a few minutes to come back to normal. I also get severe cramp in my calf muscles if I stretch in the morning while in bed. Does anyone know what this is?, and should I mention it to him?
Thanks in advance.
