hi all back in jan 07 i was put on levothyroxine 25mcgs for hypo thyrold took them till april in april i was on 75mcgs but then the dr put me on blood pressure meds i was having fainting spells from sept 06 till june 07 here's whats confusing if i stop the levothyroxine i dont faint nor blackout but i think my b/p meds arent right when i go to dr its fine like 134/80 or sometimes 139/89 that may be a bit high i dont know but once i stopped the thyrold meds for 8 weeks my b/p was reading 118/60 or 120/79 and heartrate was lower like 60-79 but before when i was on the 75mcgs of my thyrold meds my b/p was running like 170-180/1120 -125 heartrate was hight too like 110-125 but when i dont take the thyrolds my b/p stays down i am on a low dose of the b/p so maybe thats my trouble or im having a reaction with the 2 meds together .plus i get horrible headaches when i take both meds but once im off the thyrold meds my headaches go away and see i have fainted since sept 06 then once i started the thyrold meds my fainting got worse i go to dr today so i will see what b/p is plus i went to endo in june after stopping just the thyrold meds and my b/p was 118/60 heartrate was 80 .so could it be that im either cant take the thyrold meds or what????? i tell the drs this but they dont seem to think its the cause they say they never heard of b/p and thyrold meds causeing trouble by taking both or could it be im on too low a dose of b/p meds for one i feel tons better if i dont take the thyrold meds but after awhile i start feeling bad again like off the thyrold meds i dont get depressed or cry and i can sleep good but once i start back on the thyrold meds i get the depression and i wake early im so confused i dont know what is going on with my body .
any advice would be helpfull.
