It means you have high blood pressure for this one time reading...so you will need to keep taking it to see if this is truly your blood pressure. If this is your normal then your heart is working too hard and it is not resting and you need medicine to bring it down. Genetics also plays a big part of blood pressure problems you will always have to keep a medical eye on the blood pressure. Males in particular can not withstand high blood pressure...they are not as elastic as females.
