| Wanted: advice on natural ways for lowering blood pressure
My blood pressure, on average, is 144/90. I am 49 yrs old, 6 ft tall, 180lbs, and I exercise at my target heart rate (136-148 bpm) for 30 minutes 6 times/week. I take 600mg of Kyolic garlic capsules twice a day, 3mg melatonin once daily, 162mg/day enteric-coated aspirin (taken once nightly), 200mg selenium once daily, 160mg saw palmetto twice a day, 15 almonds once daily, and 8 oz. grape juice twice daily. My diet is also rich in fresh vegetables and fruits, seafood (shrimp, salmon) and chicken. My total cholesterol is 183mg/dL – HDL 73, LDL 101, triglycerides 45.
What more can I do to get my BP down, without going to pharmaceuticals?
