hbp symptoms ? - High & Low Blood Pressure Message Board

i know that high blood pressure doesnt give u symptoms but i have heard many people say they had symptoms .. please tell me what kind of symptoms u all have ???????
thanks .. i am worried about my father he hasnt been feeling well lately , he feels his chest is tight and his heart has been beatin fast ..
but he also has anxiety so i dont know if its hbp or anxiety .. please help me i am so worried

Next time your in a Wal-Mart with your Dad take him over to the Pharmacy section and sit him down at the Blood Pressure machine and check his BP as well as your BP.

I have high BP but have no symptoms. I am on 3 different medications and it still isnt under control.

That tightness of chest and heart palps do not sound like BP it sounds like it could be anxiety..good luck, Lisa

The doc says I'm one of the lucky ones that experience symptoms. He said that if your bp increases rapidly, you will have symptoms.

I had headaches, no energy, blurred vision, and a feeling of soreness in the sides of my neck. What bothered me the most was the fact that I had no energy. I didn't want to do anything but lay around all the time.

I too get have symptoms I can tell when my BP is up. I get that soreness in the sides of my neck too it scares me..Lisa
