Blood pressure vs Pulse rate (Help) - High & Low Blood Pressure Message Board

My question is, Is it out of line or normal safe range for me to run a pulse rate between 80 and 90 bpm when my blood pressure remains at 112 over 72?? My blood pressure has always been on the nice normal side and I have never taken medication for it. But whenever I have my pulse taken wether it's all the doctors office or Walmart is is between 80 and 90 beats per minute. Is that normal?? If not, how can I fix it? Thanks!

I do believe it's within the normal range for adults. I always thought mine was high (85-90) with good bp so I looked it up, and it seemed it was withing the acceptable range.

That's a little in the higher range of normal. Can you take your pulse at home when you're relaxed? A few times a day to see how it changes.
Also, if you get a little hot or have been standing for a bit your blood pressure can fall some. Your body's natural response is to increase heart rate to help correct that.

90s is the high side of normal
maybe you had been walking before taking it

I tend to be anxious and have anxiety. The doctor visits always make it go up. But I feel normal at Walmart. But ya, I had been walking around and just plopped down by the pharmacy and took the blood pressure and pulse. My blood pressure is always nice and low/normal and the pulse is 80 to 90. I don't know. It's just weird. I just don't want to keel over dead. My husbands bp is higher than mine yet his resting pulse is 56. Cool as a cucumber. He is so mellow. We must be complete opposites. lol
