Antidepressants and Hypertension - High & Low Blood Pressure Message Board

Hi,

I'm sorry that I haven't been around for over 6 month, but my depression seems to be worsen than before. I really enjoyed browsing and posting, as well as learning, at this great board. Anyway, I'm back and I have a question.

I already have tried Effexor XR 75mg last year and when I my dr doubled to 150mg I got high heart rate (110 beat). and my BP got high too.

I want start taking Prozac 40 mg so has anyone tried it?

I havent tried Effexor XR but I read about the possiblity of it raising BP. I have a script for wellbutrin, I think it has a risk of increaded BP as well so I am kind of nervous. I only choose it because it doesnt cause weight gain.
