| A few Lisinopril Questions
Greetings,
Well, back on the Lisinopril. After 3 and a half years without it, and finding nothing else that has helped (except the 100 dollar Cozaar, and not resorting to CCBs just yet) I am back on the med that gave me horrible stomach cramps. Here's the story thus far. I took my pressure before getting the med; AM was 155/100. Took 10 mg. at 3:00 PM. 3 hours later, 140/92. Again 2 hours later, 135/87. Before bed, 135/85. After 5 days now, I am getting morning reads of 125/82. However, and this is the big question for me, since this didn't happen last time, I am getting evening spikes of 150/98. I have no idea why. I though LIsinopril had a fairly long half life? Either way, wondering if anyone had any thoughts.
On to side effects; the horrible cramps I had the first time haven't come back yet, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. However, I do notice (and in hindsight recall the same last time I took it) I get these weird "sticking" or stabbing sensations on various parts of my body, kind of like someone is poking me from the inside out. It feels a bit like a pinched nerve or carpel sensation, but it is random spots, like the back of my arm, my leg, side, stomach, etc. Anybody ever heard of this?
Regards, Brenden.
