| very high blood pressure (229/119), please help!
hello everybody. i know i'm asking a bunch of questions, but i have no one else to ask; my father does not have health insurance (and he is very stubborn with doctors/hospitals). i will appreciate any bits of information one could provide
my father has extremely high blood pressure, 229/119. hes under a lot of stress due to legal issues, and unfortunately those issues will be going on for a few months. it will be hard to eliminate all of the stress, but i'm going to be doing my best to make him cut back on it
hes 5'8, 175 lbs, turning 59 in a couple of months
hes always busy so he eats a lot of fast food or anything he can get his hands on. i believe he is overweight by about 20 lbs, so i need to get him on a proper diet. does anyone have <information about> a "proper diet"?
to my knowledge, he doesnt take anything aside from baby aspirin. he just took half of a zantax pill to help him sleep
