Marantz,
I am happy for you. Way to go!!!!

I asked my doctor why he put me on a calcium channel blocker & a a1/ blocker. And he said the reason why is because he didn't want to overdose on just one thing and wanted to attack my hypertension from different angles. my hypertension is mostly due to my kidneys, and probably my lack of excercise from the last serveral years (aka couch potatoe) and I haven't eaten as well as I could.
So what I did was just cut out all the bad food (inc fast food), couldn't excercise that much because of the weather, and just reduce my sodium intake.
heres my formula:
- sleep well
- remove yourself from stressfull situations
- reduce sodium intake as much as possible
- If could, excercise & work out more.
the doctor said, my ultimate goal was to get on 5 mg of Norvasc
