Hi,

I read that taking your ankle blood pressure helps indicate weaker blood flow to the legs and it can show up problems if there is a big difference between the arm and ankle.

Has anyone tried taking their ankle blood pressure with a home blood pressure monitor?

I know it sounds a little crazy.

I never tried but i'm going to try right now lol. probably be such a different reading though depending on the size of the cuff/ankles compared to the arm. I don't even know at what spot you are supposed to take it at the ankle though, so they will probably be off.

Ok i tried 3 times twice on one leg, once on the other and everytime i got the doube E error on my omron BP monitor. So i'm off on where to take it on the ankle i think.

There is not a lot of info out there on ankle bp. A mystery.
