Re: hypertension: cardiologist or fam doctor?

Good question. When my bp first spiked in Feb the family dr sent me to the hospital where I was under the care of a cardiologist.

My heart tests all came back good but I still am having problems with the systolic # being high so I'm wondering if I should go back to my family dr and figure out what else might be causing this sudden high blood pressure.
