does having high blood pressure automatically mean you have high portal pressure?
ive just had a esophagal vein burst, it was quite an episode!!! all the findings ive researched would suggest high portal pressure due to liver cirrhosis.
I do not have cirrhosis, I ve had various tests and my liver is ok. however, I do have high blood pressure at intervals (not sure why) I also train very very hard in the gym.
My thinking is, could a temporary high blood pressure time and straining in the gym cause this burst???
im worried to do anything right now, could do with any ideas from anyone... thx.
