This I believe is a beta blocker, it has to be done in stages, you didn't say what dose you are taking. It took me 1 month to ween off my beta blocker, although i have heard it takes some people 2 months. You can cut your pill in 2 take 1/2 of it do this for a week or two, then cut the 1/2 in two and so on(this is how I did). If you have any doubts, consult your Doctor he may want you to do it another way.
