baby aspirin

Do you take baby aspirin & does it lower blood pressure?

it thins your blood, doesn't lower BP.

If you search for trials, theres a average drop of ~7/5.

Asprin thins the blood, they recommend asprin to prevent clotting.

As for the trials, I am unaware of them. But it you already knew about them, can you elaborate more then?

Baby aspirin may be beneficial in another way. Prolonged hypertension, or even pre-hypertension can in some cases lead to increased PVCs and ayyrthmia. This can in turn result in blood clots, so baby aspirin is a good defense in this case.

I take a daily aspirin, but it doesn't do anything for my blood pressure. So I take other drugs for that. The aspirin is because I am at high risk for a heart attack.
