milestone

The last two nights I have had excellent BP readings. Two nights ago, I took three readings and all were around 110/70. That's the lowest I've ever measured for myself. Last night was also right around 110/70.

Now, the trick is to figure out what I've done differently. Isn't that the million dollar question? I've been running after work, which definitely helps bring my BP down in the hours afterwards, but I've always exercised quite a bit and I don't usually get BP this good. I don't feel like I've done anything particularly different in the past few days or weeks.

Re: milestone

Congrats on the low readings. My recent readings have gone the opposite direction. They have creeped up to 130+ over 80-90. What's odd is that, like you, I can't figure out why.

I'm going back to the doctor on Monday. I'm guessing he will either increase what I'm taking or try something different.

Great, Caberg. There are so many unknowns in b/p regulations. You might pay some attention to what you are eating. Have you stopped eating any specific foods? Remember the interactions with grapefruit & certain meds? There are probably so many other ones that are not known. We kind of have to be on the front lines in our own little research group. Fam

Re: milestone

If I had to take a guess I would say the exercise is burning off excess adrenaline or runaway states of adrenaline.

Whatever you are doingto get those numbers... keep on doing it.

Wishing you good health-

So, if this was the case, would the low BP only subsist for the several hours after exercising?
