That is actually a symptom of Neurally Mediated Hypotension (I'm sure it happens with many other things, as well). I have NMH and eating triggers my symptoms. I get dizzy, nauseous, lightheaded, etc. Do you get those symptoms when you stand upright for long periods of time? Or in hot weather? If so, maybe you should tell your doctor and get tested for it.
