The post I responded to said their BP was 120/84 and I said it was fine. Anything up to 139 (top number) is normal, anything 140 to 159 is borderline, and anything over 160 is hypertention.
The bottom number is fine if it is less than 89, borderline 90-94 and hypertension more than 95. Having just one reading is not going to tell the whole story. If it is constantly 140 or above, or the bottom number is more than 90 constantly, then you need to change some things. Keep a record of your BP if U have a monitor at home and see what it says. JJ
