| norvasc and swelling
I take 5 mg norvasic once a day to try to get my b/p under 90. When taking it my knees both swell up and you can see bulges around my knee caps. My legs , after sitting or sleeping at night feel like they have calcified, they hurt like heck to move them till I'm up for a hr, even then , if I stop and sit down , it takes a gritting of teeth to be able to move getting up. I feel sometimes like i need a wheelchair and my walk is affected I limp because of the swelling on both knees. when I quit taking it for 2 days the swelling goes away. No buldges around the cap. I'm a young guy , at 53 I don't have any problems besides the 95-100 bloodpresure. does this b/p medicine have to affect my life this bad. isn there another medicine I could take? I took avalide with a diuratic and it made my sweat stink like urine so i switched to this.
