high blood pressure
can any one tell me if you have high blood pressure are you able to eat grapefruits or drink grapefruit juice someone told me that you couldn/t is this true or what?????

From what I have read grapefruit or juice should not be taken with certain blood pressure meds, it interferes or amplifies the effects.

Hi, I've heard that certain high blood pressure meds shouldn't be taken two hours before or after drinking grapefruit juice also...only thing...I don't know which class of meds they are referring to...the calcium channel blockers, ACE inhibitors, beta blockers, diuretics etc. Does anyone know?

From what I have heard and read, most meds. are not to be mixed with grapefruit, especially any cholesterol lowering stuff, and most BP meds.
