| Anyone take Altace?
Never had high readings of BP till I started on cholesterol drugs, but now readings are high. Always had about 130-135 over 75-80. Last couple of months readings have been 150-155 over 90-97. Stopped the cholesterol meds. as they had rotten side effects, but dr. put me on Altace, 2.5 mgs for 3 weeks, then if it isn't down to normal have to go to 5 mgs. I have seen a slight inprovement, but nothing earth shattering. How long before U actually see some decent results? Do have a home monitor, Omron self inflateable. Anyone have any problem with this drug? I noticed a little itching for the first 3 days, especailly on my upper back. Thanx for any input.
