head pounding & salt craving
I am taking Hyzaar. I am experiencing lots of heart pounding in my head (blocks my hearing during the "thump"). Leg & arm cramping and salt craving. I have never been a salt craver. It seems I am having an electrolyte imbalance to me. I have increased the potassium rich foods. Told the PA about it and that is all she said to do, but it is still happening. If it were me I'd ask to be given an alternative medication. There are alternatives and there's not reason for you to have to put up with those symptoms. Good luck.

I have already tried several different kinds. The ACEs made me cough like I would hack up a lung. This is the first one that really does lower my BP. This ring around the rosie is exhausting!!! Does anyone else experience these symptoms out there??
