Every source says simply that hbp increases risk of death from heart attack and stroke. I want to know more. At what age do people usually die of hbp related heart attack & stroke? (if it's in old age, I care less), are they usually obese?, smokers?, low exercise? Is there usually some other factor involved(diabetes, high stress, etc.)? Anybody know anything, or any source?
The negative effects of high bp are cumulative, so your risk of heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, blindness etc. increases with age. Sudden death from heart attack and stroke in young people, however, is not unheard of. You are obviously young, but someday you are going to wake up and wonder where the years have gone.
