Yes, I have successfully reduced my blood pressure and discontinued meds by following a low carbohydrate diet.
I'm very familiar with Protein Power, but my diet is a combination of a few of the low carb diets...Atkins, Omega, and Protein Power. They are all very worthwhile, and all, in my opinion, have a very healthy effect on blood pressure. Only thing that has worked for me, along with exercise. I went off my usual low carb diet recently while traveling, and my blood pressure promptly returned to high levels...I will never again be careless with carbohydrates.
