Question re. BP
Okay, I've forgotten this stuff, lol...
can someone tell me if bp of 120/84 is okay and within the normal range? I got my bp taken today right before donating blood to the Red Cross...so, I could have been a little nervous.

120/84 is just fine. The top number is normal up to 139 and the bottom up to 89. Borderline is 140/90, and anything above that is pushing it. Relax, as it sounds like your fine. <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif"> JJ

No problem...My BP machine came with a booklet and it says:

For top number, (Systolic) less than 139 is normal, 140 to 159 borderline, more than 160 is hypertention.

Bottom number, (Diastolic) less than 89 normal, 90 to 94 borderline, more than 95 hypertention. U are well within the range. JJ
