pulse 103

I been having a steady pulse over 100 and my pressure is between 118/93 - 150/102. The diastolic stays high, my doctor upped my lisinopril to 20mg and ordered an event monitor but I cant get it until next week!

I feel like I might have a heart atack before then. I have a headache and terribly out of breath all the time. Can this be a problem with my blood pressure or heart?

Re: pulse 103

Xanax does not help, as a matter of fact I get a rebound effect and it actually raises my BP once it wears off. Very bad med for me!

I actually went from 125/89 tp 160/134 in minutes. This was in the doctors office. My pulse was as high as 118.

My doctor thinks I have tachycardia or something else, I couldn't read it. I have to wear an event monitor for 30 days. Going to hate that. SO he hopes to solve my blood pressure issues as well as everything else going on.

Re: pulse 103

Please try Magnesium Chelated supplement, take 100mg with breakfast and another one with dinner. Magnesium is anti-anxiety and it regulates the heart, you need to take it anyway until you know what's wrong.
You might need a small dose beta blocker, but I myself have great results with Magnesium instead of taking beta blockers.
