David, what kinds of blood pressure fluctuations are you experiencing?
Blood pressure is normally lower during the morning hours and slowly increases throughout the day. If you have a healthy blood pressure, it should not be above 130/80 at rest.
Blood pressures about 130/80 indicate an unhealthy metabolism in one's body, which can be improved via healthier diet and physical exercise. If improved diet and exercise doesn't bring one's blood pressure down to healthy levels, then blood pressure medications, with the possibility of unpleasant side effects, should be considered.
I have no medical training or education. My opinion is based on my own research and the fact that I cured my own chronic high blood pressure problems after taking my blood pressure 32,000 times over 12 years of chronically high blood pressure. I took elaborate records over those frustrating 12 years and slowly figured out what was causing my unhealthy blood pressure levels. I find that, if I keep my average blood pressure down to around 122/72 all day long, 24 hours per day, 12 months per year, I experience significant improvements in my Heart Failure and Diabetes 2 and Permanent Atrial Fibrillation and overall good health.
