Diuretic and fast heart rate
Is it possible for a Diuretic to cast a rapid pulse?

A diuretic can cause dehydration which can cause rapid heart rate. I know if I get dehydrated my pulse shoots up. Get lots of fluids into yourself.

Thats what I was thinking. I am also taking phentermine which yes can cause rapid pulse but dehydration as well. But I woke up with a pulse of 100! Thinking I should drink more. I am probably getting to old to be taking such meds anyway, but my doctor prescribed and seems comfortable with me taking the phen.

Well the phentermine is a stimulant, so that plus the diuretic just might do it. I don't think age has much to do with a lot of things, it's half these drugs have way too many side effects. I'm extremely sensative to meds, so trust me, if there is a side effect...I'll probably get it...
