Amlodopine and Bystolic
Recently I visited a new dr who wants me to start taking 5 mg bystolic. I am weaning from amlodopine--currently on 2.5 mg. Should these two drugs be taken together? I am already to tired to fuction and I am thinking that this combination might be too much. Has anyone taken these medicines together?

I dont think theres any issue taking the two together, provided you dont get too much drop in your BP. Of course, if you have some concern then perhaps wean off amlodipine before starting bystolic.

Thanks for the quick response. I am in the process of weaning from amlodopine with the 2.5 being the lowest dose. I will begin cutting in half this week. I am anxious/worried about taking a beta blocker, though!
