Welcome to the board. We have several knowledgeable folks here and lots of folks with experience with meds.
Please provide us with your bp readings. How long have you been on azor and HCTZ?? It takes about one month to see max benefit.
RELAX. Unless your BP is 200 or more, you dont have much to worry about in the short term.
Keep in mind that the best first step is to change your liftestyle to reduce your BP - weight loss, a diet that includes non-animal protein and fruits/veggies, sodium restriction to < 2.5 grams/day, smoking cessation.
