Large spread in Systolic & Diastolic numbers
I have high blood pressure, but sort of off and on. It can be horrible, or not bad, and you can add white coat hypertension to confuse the matter.
Recently, my BP has been on the not-too-bad side, but I am experiencing readings in which there is a large spread between Systolic & Diastolic numbers. It used to be that the number more-or-less moved up or down the same degree. If I was 85, I would be maybe 130. If I was 95, I would be 145-150, and so on.
Tonight was a good demonstration: 150/82, and that is typical of late. It used to be that 82 would accompany 125-ish, and 150 would accompany 97-ish. Now, the systolic is often fairly high and the diastolic fairly low.
Has anyone here any knowledge or advice on that oddity?
