I realize the probability is unlikely, but the timing of this is slightly unerving. I'm a 13 year old male and roughly 3-4 months ago gave/received oral sex to another male. I met him in a chatroom, he was age 17. I performed oral sex, however, for the most part masturbated him. I didn't swallow his semen. My possible symptoms are flu-like, and it sets itself within the window of early infections. This was my first time performing or receiving any sort of sexual "favours." While I realize it's unlikely, it's very scary. What do you really think the likelyhood is? I'm trying to get tested as soon as possible. I have no clue if he was even possitive or not, but I can't help but worry.
You will not have contracted HIV from this experience, don't worry.
It seems very dangerous that you agreed to meet someone you had only met in a chatroom and spent time alone with them. Weren't you worried that the person may not have been who they led you to believe they were. There have been cases of people with prejudices against gay men chatting on these boards and trying to arrange meetings so they can physically harm the person.
Thanks for replying. I'm aware, as I was going through a bad phase at the time. I was having a rough time dealing with some emotions as my sexuality, etc. I've sorted them all out and am in a healthy relationship and have myself back on track. Thank you very much for your concern.
you are not at risk for contracting HIV, do not worry. contracting it from oral sex is very unlikely in the first place, and that involves the guy ejaculating in your mouth. you're fine, be glad that this guy did not lie about who he was or try to hurt you, and that you're safe and healthy
It is very risky meeting someone from the internet, I'm sure you know this. But even more risky is that you chose to give and receive oral sex WITHOUT a condom. Please, please be more careful next time. And you know what? Next time you won't have to worry about contracting anything.
