| Question about Combivir as a cocktail regimen
I recently was sexually active unprotected with someone who was HIV+ who didnt tell me.. I've been to the ER and my OB/GYN about a week after the encounter to have my tests done .. The ER prescribed me Combivir.. both tests were done the same day... They are negative so far.. Does anyone know how effective this medication is to prevent you from coming up positive... I'm on wits end and my OB said she thinks it's pretty effective... I want someone to tell me straight up if they've gone thru this or know someone who has..
