Exclamation Why You Should Get Tested

Its a very stressful , painful , anxious and absolutely frightening thing to have to go through but when you look at it from another point of veiw (WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES) we are only human . The greater fear is not knowing through my own experiences and others I've known the only wat to diagnose hiv is through an (ELISA ) test and if a reaction occures then a backup test known as the (WESTERN BLOT) is used .
There are many reasons to test and especialy with the actual threat of having an hiv exposure it can absolutely tear you apart but if this thread is any comfort to you at all (AND I HOPE IT IS ) let me get started...................
Living in fear isn't the answer if you're positive you're posative whether you know or not the onely difference is the virus has a chance to sneak up on you .
Early treatment gives you a chance to get the virus under control , bring its numbers down , slow its progression , keep you're imune system much stronger , and with lower numbers also make you less contagious .
There are many treatment options through the use of antiretroviral drugs ( WHICH DISRUPT THE VIRUS FROM REPLICATING ITSELF) and also inhibitors ( WHICH STOP INFECTED CELLS FROM REPLICATING THE VIRUS )
By giving you're self a chance for treatment you stand to live a longer , happier , healthier life.
Also by knowing you can cut the virus short by not transmitting it to others . Hiv is not a death sentence but it is a chronic illness and the things we take for granted like eating rong, not resting when were tired , and an assortment of other things will have to change .
Many people have symtoms so mild or none at all they don't even realise there infected untill about 5 to 7 years when there imune system is almost collapsed to full blown (AIDS) and they develope problems (NOT SYMTOMS)
Hiv varies from person to person from a mild headache to fullblown menangitas and everything in between and that's a BIG range of symtoms please remember ( HIV MIMICS OTHER VIRUSES IT HAS NO SET OF SYMTOMS )
So please don't drive you're self insane looking on the internet looking up symtoms for a diseas that has no real face of its own .
As you've seen on these boards just about all have every symtom there is to have and have tested negative and now they all try to help others that are standing in there shoes rite now.
I DON'T NEED TO SEE OR KNOW YOU TO WANT TO HELP YOU ............
GOD LOVES YOU AND SO DO I
Keep fighting and never give up.... EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
........... IN GOOD HEALTH .............
......................... LOST SPIRIT ..................
