Is a rash under the armpit a symptom of ARS? Discomfort in groin area? I tested for HIV on Jan 10th (5.5 months after last sexual experience). It came back negative. Since the test though, I have developed a rash under my armpit and discomfort in my groin. Is there any chance the woman didnt use a clean needle or something? I was nevous and didnt really pay attention to her taking it out of a package or anything. This rash has been here for 2 weeks and is really worrying me because I have read that it is probably an infection in the body causing it. Is teh rash a symptom of advanced HIV/AIDS or can it also be a symptom during ARS? PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Test for other std's, not just hiv. Your clear of hiv

I am going to soon. Can an std take 6 months to cause the rash to occur under my armpit? Also, how palpable are the lymph nodes in the groin area. If i check out the area, i can detect them, but they are not huge or anything. They are about the size of a pea i would say. And one final question. Would a CBC count be abnormal if HIV was in fact present? My fiancee had to have blood work done for a new gyno she will meet with on the 25th and her CBC count was normal ( she would have been exposed to it also if I had it.) Would an STD cause it to be abnormal?

Lymphnodes are usaly the size of a pea if you dig,push on them or keep feeling around for them they will definately swell up . Lymphnodes swell up for many reasons if you accidently hit one that can also cause them to swell up . Rashes are also caused by any number of reasons and you can't realy judge by them either the only way to know for certain is to get an hiv test
(WHICH YOU HAVE DONE)
The rash could be a bacteria infection caused by deoderant or soap or laundry detergent ........
The discomfort could be a urinary tract infection
(JUST DON'T POKE AT YOU'RE LYMPHNODES)
It makes things worse get checked for everything A-Z ..............
I'm sure you're fine but it never hurts to make sure ...........
I hope you can sleep better knowing you're (HIV NEGATIVE) relax and get checked out for other stuff ..................
